Stephen B. "Steve" Gaietto

Stephen B. "Steve" Gaietto, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital, and had spent the last year at Autumnwood Care Center. Steve passed from complications from Parkinson's that took him quickly.

He was born January 29, 1953, to Bernard and Marie (Frisch) Gaietto. He first married Mary Ann McCullough in 1974 and they later divorced. He then married Cheryl L. Nolan on November 22, 1993.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Cheri Gaietto of Tiffin; son, Dominic (Ginger) Gaietto of Tiffin; granddaughter, Emma Gaietto; brothers, John (Jeannette) Gaietto, Dennis (Nancy) Gaietto and Richard (Rose) Gaietto, all of Tiffin; sister, Sandra Kesler of Tiffin; and many loved sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Gina Marie Gaietto; stepson, Ricky Wurster; and many beloved animals.

Steve worked for C & J Games and Music for most of his life. He enjoyed working there to the fullest and spent many wonderful times with Jim and Vickie and Chris and Doreen. The last 10 years before retiring, he worked at the Seneca County Youth Center.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. There will be a luncheon after in the St. Mary Rec Room.
