Stephen Gant Obituary
Stephen was born on September 27, 1956, in El Paso, TX to the late William Sr. and Eleanor Gant. Stephen graduated from High School in Texas and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years before he started managing restaurants. He most recently worked for Muncie IHOP. Stephen enjoyed NASCAR, bowling, music, and movies. He collected coins and model cars. He loved to spoil his grandchildren.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Connie Gant; son Ryan Gant; four stepsons, David Nicholson (wife Katelyn), Dustin Lee (wife Katie), Cody Lee (wife Ashli), and Travis Lee (wife Ashley); seven grandchildren, Harper, Landry, Payton, Beckett, Reagan, Emerson, and Monroe Lee; two sisters, Darlene Chrisman and Cindy Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Gant; sister, Deborah Carter; brother, Bill Gant; and his beloved bulldogs, Precious and Tanker.
A funeral service to celebrate Stephen's life will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown. Cremation will follow.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Sunday at Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be given to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
