Toby Gant

Toby Allen Gant, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on January 5th, 2026, at age 54. Toby was born on April 26, 1971. On January 5th, Toby was on his way to work when he was killed while on his motorcycle.

He was the kind of man people counted on, the friend or coworker who went above and beyond without being asked, the guy whose smile made every interaction feel just a little brighter.

His family says that's who he was every single day... a devoted husband, a proud dad, and a constant source of love.

Toby was a proud Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and an active member of the Georgia chapter of Knights on Bikes.

His Catholic faith was the most important thing in his life and guided every action and decision he made. He joined Queen of Angels Catholic School at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year as their Technologist and found it to be a huge source of joy.

Toby leaves behind his wife, Melba and their 23 year-old twins, Jake and Grace, a family now trying to make sense of life without the man they all loved so deeply.

His loved ones hope people will remember Toby not for the tragic way he was taken, but for the goodness he brought into every life he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m., at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming, GA.
