My wife and I are sad to hear of Steve's passing. I had the pleasure to work closely with Steve in the 80's and 90's and knew him throughout our various titles and assignments in State Parks. He was a great person in every way, one that I respected and admired. I will always remember those days. My condolences to Janet and his entire family. Rest in peace, Steve, until we meet once again.

I enjoyed the time I worked with Steve at Seneca Lake State Park. I am sorry to hear of his passing. One memory I have is asking Steve for a recommendation for a good restaurant to meet my family at in Geneva as I was new to the area. He directed me to Nonna's I went there with my family several times and have fond memories every time I drive through Geneva. He liked to keep it in the family.

So sad to hear of Steve's passing. Met him at the Seneca Lake State Park Marina in 1993 when he was the park superintendent. He was a great person and became a good friend. He was very fair and cared for the boaters. He was approachable and would listen to suggestions and sometimes complaints and handled it all with professionalism and fairness. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. God Bless Steve and Janet and children and may he rest in peace.
