Mr. Stephen Alexander Grubbs, 16, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Born on February 13, 2009 in Toccoa GA, he was the son of Todd Mack Grubbs and Angela Marie Anthony Grubbs. Stephen loved his Cats & Dogs, riding & trading Mini-bikes, hanging out with his friends, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his parents: Todd Grubbs and Angela Marie Grubbs of Hartwell; a brother: Nathan Grubbs of Greenville SC; three sisters: Gynger Grubbs, Kaitlyn Grubbs, and Trinity Chalker, all of Hartwell; maternal grandparents: Lacresha Anthony and Dennis Anthony of Hartwell; and an uncle: Dustin Anthony of Hartwell.
Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Brenda Grubbs and Jimmy Grubbs.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Grubbs will be Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry James officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.
Flowers are optional, contributions may be made to help offset the cost of the funeral and burial expenses.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
