Stephen H. "Steve" Bailey Obituary
Mr. Stephen H. "Steve" Bailey, age 72, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Born on October 3, 1952 in Americus, Georgia, he was the son of the late O.C. and Doris Bailey. Steve managed several convenient stores as well as managing W.W. Fast Foods. He was known for his passion for racing and enjoyed woodworking. He loved eating sweets; especially chocolates.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Kerri Bailey Keeffe (Geoffrey); his granddaughter, Kathryn Keeffe; his grandson, Grayson Keeffe; his sister Kathy Bailey Gerbig; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his sister, Debra Nash.
Services are planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, April 25, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Wendy Peacock officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
