Stephen Anthony Heard Sr.

Stephen Anthony Heard, Sr., better known as Steve, was 76 years old when he passed away in his sleep on December 19, 2025, with his sons by his side. He was born in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, on September 2, 1949, to Rosa Perea and Frank Heard, Sr. After graduating high school, he was quickly drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War. Steve met his future wife, Dolores, at the very young age of 15. Before he left to Vietnam at the age of 18 he married his beloved. After his time in the Army Steve owned and operated Colonial Auto Body in Walnut, CA for thirty-one years. Upon retirement he and his family returned to New Mexico and settled in the quiet village of Algodones. Steve will always be a legend in his son’s minds. They are grateful for having such a special man as their dad.

He is survived by his three sons, Stephen, Jr, Mark, and Donovan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores, to whom he will always be married, even in death. They are now united and at peace forever.
