Stephen Hilgart Obituary
Steve was born on October 8, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of Stephen Hilgart and Lillian (Swiately) Hilgart-Fennell. He married Mary Ann on August 5, 1956 in Chicago. She passed away on May 30, 2004.
Steve retired from Stone Wheel, Inc. in 2003 where he worked as the Branch Manager. He was a former member of the Navy Club. Steve was an Avid Chicago sports fan of the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls & Cubs and enjoyed camping at Paradise Park in Garden Prairie, IL. He also enjoyed golfing and playing softball.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Karen (Jeff) Reisetter; sons, John (Tammie) Hilgart, Steve (Karynn Helm) Hilgart; grandchildren, Michael Hilgart, Amanda Hilgart, Caylie Hilgart, and Max Hilgart; step grandchildren, Kari Gustafson, Chris (Kim) Reisetter, Jordan (Samantha) Reisetter; great granddaughter, Demi; step-great grandchildren Madelyn, Harper, Kinsey, Josh and Sophia; sister, Darlene Bailey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann; grandson, Ryan Finley, and Brother Lee Hilgart.
