Hazel Ann Hendershott

Hazel Ann Hendershott, born on October 18, 1942, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Robert Hendershott for 58 wonderful years, and a cherished mother to her daughter, Rachel Ann Blanton. Hazel was a proud grandmother to Royle (Ashley) Blanton and a doting great-grandmother to her six great-grandchildren: Zoe, Amelia, Nora, Jaxson, Logan, and Samuel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth and kindness. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Edward Boss and Margaret Evelyn Treloggen, her sister, and four brothers. A woman of deep faith, Hazel loved the Lord her Savior and often found solace in Psalm 91. She had a tremendous love for family, friends, and animals, having many beloved pets throughout her life, including a variety of backyard birds. Hazel was known as a Prayer Warrior and was a joyful member of the Comfort Club at her church, where she spread love and support to those around her. Her passions included singing hymns, cake decorating, gardening, floral arranging, painting ceramics, and devouring a good book. Hazel's artistic spirit and her ability to spread joy through her talents left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Hazel Ann Hendershott will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those she touched.
