Stephen Arthur Himmelstein, son of the late Rose and Murray Himmelstein, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carole (nee Shapiro) and his loving children, Hope (Robert) Weinstein, Scott Himmelstein (Brooke Sobel) and Dr. Stuart Himmelstein (Elisa Adel). A devoted PopPop, he was most proud of his grandchildren Cole (Jenn), Drew, Jordyn, Parker, Jake, Olivia and Samantha. He is also survived by many wonderful in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steve was extremely kind, loving, and had a great sense of humor. He had a new story and a new restaurant recommendation every time you saw him while sharing a passion for Philly sports with his incredible family and friends.
As for his career, Stephen was a successful manufacturers representative for health and beauty aids for over 60 years.
Stephen has been a devoted volunteer for the Deborah Heart and Lung Center for over 45 years. He was the Chairman of the Deborah Gala Auction and successfully helped raise money for the Foundation.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 1:30 PM at GOLDSTEINS’ ROSENBERG’S Funeral Directors Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
