Stephen Nicholas "Nick" Holt

August 5, 1971 – April 15, 2025
Stephen Nicholas "Nick" Holt, known to his loved ones simply as Nick, passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 53.
He passed peacefully at Putnam HCA Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Palatka, Florida, Nick lived a life full of experiences, challenges, and love.
Nick was of the Baptist faith and was active in his youth as a member of College Park Baptist Church.
A true jack of all trades, Nick held many jobs throughout his life-working as an industrial painter, a tree surgeon, and most recently as an over-the-road truck driver. He had a strong work ethic and wasn't afraid to take on new challenges.
Nick's path wasn't always easy, but those who knew him understood the depth of his heart. He was deeply loved and gave love in return. He had a special bond with his mother and was especially proud of and devoted to his niece, Rylee.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Eugene Holt, who passed away in April 2024.
Nick is survived by his mother, Vicki Oliver, and his stepfather, Lawrence Oliver; his sister, Michele Parnell, and brother-in-law, James Parnell; his niece, Rylee; nephews, James, Reese, and Ryan; his stepbrother, Jonathan Oliver (Heidi); and his stepsister, Amanda Hebebrand.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his hard work, and the many memories he shared with those close to him. Though he has left this world, his spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A private service will be held in his honor. The family encourages everyone to cherish their loved ones, offer grace when it's needed, and never take a single moment for granted.
Rest peacefully, Nick.You are loved and missed beyond words.
