I had the honor of working with Steve in the early 1990s with Troop 19. Always helpful in all of our end. Be it camping or Babka fundraising or making Palm Crosses Steve was always there. He inspired many scouts and scouters. His spirit will live on for many years to come.
His life will be remembered for giving more than receiving. He was always moving forward. God bless Steve and his family. We lost a great man.

I first met Steve when I joined Troop 16 at the 22nd St YMCA. I was 11 years old. We became friends. We enjoyed Scouting, eventually become adult leaders of the Troop. As our friendship grew over time we became best friends and then Chosen Family. I considered him my brother. We shared many of the same values and likes. We were lifelong scouters, we enjoyed model rairoading, boating, fishing and snorkeling and diving. Our families shared births, confirmations, graduations, weddings and funerals. He was a great father. Grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Dee and the family. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

I joined the Boy Scouts in the late 1950s ( troop 16 Bayonne) Steve was already there .over the years with many other friends we enjoyed camping helping others and living the BoyScout model. Steve stayed and at one time was a scout master and served on the Bayonne council board.
I also remember boating at the shore near the Hudacko summer home.
Fortunately we were able to connect a few times over the last 10 years, my condolences to his family . The world lost one of the kindest souls,
