Stephen Michael Jancik, 68, of Acworth, Georgia and longtime resident of Cartersville - passed away on July 9, 2025.

Born on October 16, 1956, in Illinois, Steve was the beloved son of the late Maryann and Stephen George Jancik. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia (Patti) Jancik and Laura Jancik.

Affectionately known by many as "Keno Steve," he lived life with a big heart and even bigger personality. After a long career in sales, Steve retired and fully embraced the things he loved most: spinning his lucky Keno numbers, dancing to good music, and enjoying a bourbon and Coke with friends at his favorite hangouts - KB's and Owlz Pub.

Steve was a dedicated and loving father to three sons: Brian Grunseth and Brandon Grunseth (Dawn), whom he proudly raised as his own since they were two years old, and his biological son, Stephen Gregory Jancik. He was a proud grandfather to Carter, a devoted brother to his sister Linda Jancik, and a cherished uncle to his nieces Megan and Traci and their children.

He will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, and the way he always showed up for the people he loved. Whether you needed a laugh, a hand, or just someone to sit with, Steve was there no questions asked.

A celebration of his life was held Saturday evening 7/12 at KB's and Owlz Pub, two of the places that truly felt like home to him.

To honor Steve, raise a glass, play your favorite numbers, and dance like he would - with joy, without hesitation, and surrounded by love.
