Stephen Andrew Kish III

Stephen Andrew Kish III, 57, died peacefully at home in Silver Spring, MD, surrounded by his

loving family, after a brief illness.

He was born in Syracuse NY, son of The Rev. Stephen A. and Mary L. Kish. A 1986 graduate of

Homer High School, Homer NY, he attended the University of Florida Coral Gables and SUNY

Cortland. Through the years, he worked a variety of jobs, mostly in automotive sales and

service.

He will be remembered by family and friends as lovin' the rock n'roll life, in his leather jacket,

ripped jeans, long hair, and wrestling shoes, with a great sense of humor, happy and fun to be

with. He marched to the beat of his own drummer.

He is survived by his children, Ciera (Jon) Ottenshot, Etna NY; Stephen A. Kish IV, US Army; Brian

A. Kish, Freeville NY; grandson Kohen Ottenshot; mother Mary L. Mager Kish, Silver Spring MD;

sister Jennifer (Robert) Schellhammer, Westminster MD; brother Jonathan Kish, Concord NC;

sister Abigail (Scott) Okrent, Silver Spring MD; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date this year. Memorial donations may be made
