Stephen L. Logan, 82, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 10:35 am on Monday, August 11, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

He was born on October 25, 1942, in Peoria, IL, to James A. and Julia V. (Abel) Logan. He married Linda S. Knobloch on March 27, 1976 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Linda of Germantown Hills; children, Chad (Laura) Logan of Metamora, IL; Mark (Emily) Logan of Spring Hill, TN, and Trisha (Shawn) Cullen of Metamora; grandchildren, Alex, Tim, Emma, and Will Cullen and Wyatt and Juliet Logan; and siblings, Jim (Debbie) Logan of Elmhurst, IL, Susan (Rich) Harris of Washington, IL, Mary (Stan) Crowl of West Peoria, IL, and John (Victoria) Logan of Morton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as an inventory control counter for Caterpillar Tractor Company until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the UAW #974. He enjoyed bowling, running, and later walking. He also enjoyed all kinds of music and watching Hallmark shows, along with Perry Mason, Matlock, Columbo, and Murder, She Wrote. He also enjoyed his cats and spending time with his grandchildren and having root beer floats.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637 or to The A.R.K. Humane Society, 477 State Route 26, Lacon, IL 61540.
