Stephen Loge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boyer Funeral Home - Seminole from Jan. 7 to Jan. 8, 2026.
Memorial services for Stephen Loge, age 74 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Boyer Funeral Home with Pastor Gilbert Ramirez officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Stephen Loge was born on January 28, 1951, in Alberta, Canada, to Pearl E. Palm and Melvin L. Loge. As a young man, Steve proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. A true patriot, he deeply loved this nation and stood firmly by his values. Steve married the love of his life, Carmen Y. Franco, on September 23, 2010, in Fulton, Missouri. A devoted Baptist and God-fearing man, Stephen lived his life with faith, strength, and integrity. He was known as a tough man whom nothing could bring down, yet his heart belonged fully to his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Steve appreciated the simple joys in life. He enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, watching UFC fights, baseball, and football, and spending time in his home workshop. He had a passion for fast cars and was always eager to take his mustang out for a drive, often saying it made him feel 20 years younger. He loved his home in Missouri and had a special affection for the Midwest. He was an avid sports fan, Steve proudly supported the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Minnesota Vikings, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Stephen Loge passed away on December 10, 2025, at his home in Seminole. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Marilynn. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Y. Loge of Seminole; two daughters, Donna Pride and husband Christopher of Seminole, and Melissa Aranda-Hernandez and husband Samuel of Seminole; one brother, Dan Loge of Omaha, Nebraska; three sisters, Donna Dagman and husband Glen of Reno, Nevada, Barbara Forsman

and husband Paul of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Ruth Ann Clow-Portis and husband Charles of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Kayla Kildow and husband Caleb of Seminole, Ayden, Kason, Isaac, and Khloe; along with many nieces and nephews that he loved deeply.
