Stephen E. McNally

I was a childhood friend of Steve's - met him at St. Philip Neri Day Camp. He was a great kid, and that obviously continued into adulthood. I lived a few blocks up the Grand Concourse from him.
I haven't been in touch with him in probably 55 years, but his spirit must have touched me today, so I looked him up and, sadly, found this obituary. May he Rest in Peace.

Steve was a kind and sweet man who lit up the room with his big positive smile! He was a fighter and never gave up. He was always such a pleasure to see and talk to when he would come to get treated and he will be greatly missed. Love, Alexa and the JTCC Lab family

Steve was a true, caring, selfless and genuine person, as authentic as they come which in today´s society is hard to find. He took care of my Vizsla Rusty and our adopted senior black lab Jett up through 2022. He took such great care of care with them and when they passed, he handed me heartfelt condolence picture frames of each over the years. I´d stay in frequent text contacting him about the Mets, even asking years back if he wanted to go to Citifield.

He was a saint

Steve was so kind and caring to us as well as our furry boys. He became a friend and was always there for us during hard times. I will miss him very much.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Steve. I had the pleasure of working with Steve for a time as a fellow Claws volunteer. He was always a very kind and caring person who truly loved the animals.
