Stephen Mixon Obituary
Born June 27, 1978, in Sumter, he was a son of Peter R. "Pete" Mixon, Jr. and Victoria Morris Mixon. Stephen was a 1996 graduate of Sumter High School. He was a member of Calvary West Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Brake Bush in Mocksville, NC and was currently employed by American Refrigeration of Jacksonville, FL.
Survivors include his wife of Mocksville, NC; his parents of Sumter; four children, Nicholas Caldwell, McKenzie Mixon, Victoria Mixon, and Olivia Mixon; and a brother, Kevin Mixon.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, P.R. Mixon, Sr. and Pearline Boyce Mixon Outlaw; step grandfather, Jay Outlaw; and maternal grandparents, James and Ollie Mae Morris, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Pete Mixon and the Rev. Kevin Mixon officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Collins, Michael Ridgeway, Joshua Mixon, Billy Hamlin, Jimmy Morris, Chris Steele, Darian Quiroz, and Marshall Spillman.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday at Eastside Baptist Church.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
