On December 27, 2025, Stephen Morphew, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at age 80. He was born on July 14, 1945, in Winona, Minnesota but moved to Oklahoma in 1985.

Stephen was a humble man of many accomplishments who could resolve most anything that came his way. He was a true example of a "jack-of-all" trades.

He graciously accepted life with all its trials and tribulations and always tried to do the right thing as he led an honest life without passing judgment.

Stephen was a NASCAR enthusiast, watching as many races as possible but "boondocking" on the desert was his passion along with hiking and visiting many points of interest. He loved traveling the country with his wife, Joyce, and together they considered every trip, no matter how big or small, an adventure.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jody. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family: Wife, Joyce, who loved him dearly and considered him the great love of her life; Daughter, Kim, of whom he was extremely proud; Granddaughter, Annie, who made him feel "young again"; Brother, John and sister Patti, who always held a special place in his heart; Many nieces and nephews; and His kindred "in-law" family, who always held him in high esteem.

Rest in peace, Stephen. You were loved by many.
