Stephen O'Connell Obituary

Stephen P. O'Connell, age 62, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born in Erie on January 6, 1962, son of the late Robert O'Connell and Ann Degner Rice.
Stephen was a mechanic, known as "Grease Monkey" and "Stevie Steve". He loved working on cars and driving them, especially a couple muscle cars he owned back in the day. Stephen lived the rock-n-roll lifestyle and enjoyed going to concerts, camping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Stephen is survived by his son, Stephen M. O'Connell, Jr. and his mother, Theresa O'Connell Myers; two grandchildren, Evander and Ember O'Connell; and three brothers, Bob (Donna), Mike (Robin) and Rich O'Connell. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by three siblings, David O'Connell, Patricia O'Connell and William O'Connell.
Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Stephen's family through the funeral home.
