Stephen Douglas Peterson

Stephen Douglas Peterson, age 48, of Cedar Grove, Indiana died unexpectedly Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence in Cedar Grove, Indiana.
Born September 21, 1977 in Centre County, Pennsylvania the son of Jerry Peterson & Deborah Ann (Wiggans) Montgomery.
Steve worked in construction trades for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed gaming, computers, and model trains.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah Ann Montgomery of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; life partner, Tonya Blades of Cedar Grove, Indiana, sons, Jaime Blades & Brandon Blades; grandson, Lucas Blades; a brother, David Peterson, a sister, Taylor Montgomery; two bonus grandchildren, Levi & Layne Durham; as well as many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Peterson, and his step-father.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 6:00 P.M. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Jamie Harrison will officiate the Memorial Service at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
