PETRIE, Stephen J. Of Brookline passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023. Husband of Ruth P. (Holbrook) Petrie. Loving father of Tina-Marie Holbrook, Bobbi-Jo L. Reid, Mark-Anthony J. Petrie, Joseph "Joey" and Cameron "Cammy" Petrie. Former father in law of Richard Reid, Sr. Adored grandfather of Michael Hill, Jordan Reid, Richard Reid, Sarah Hill and Paul Reid and cherished great grandfather of Jesse Reid, Evie Reid and Ramona Reid. Devoted son of the late Peter J and Nellie (Romard) Petrie. Dear brother of Peter P. Petrie, Mary Jo Reardon and her husband Richard, Danny Petrie and his wife Mary-Kate, Edward Petrie and his late wife Catherine, Teresa Lyons and her husband Patrick and the late John Petrie. Beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews and the late Danielle Reardon. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., Brookline on Wednesday May 24th at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00. Interment will be private.
