Stephen Piercy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shadel's Colonial Chapel - Lebanon on Oct. 11, 2023.
Stephen Ray Piercy, son of Billy Ray and Della Fay (Reid) Piercy, was born April 1, 1967, in Lebanon, Missouri and entered his Heavenly home on October 9, 2023, at the age of fifty-six years.
Stephen was saved as a young boy, at the age of six, while at VBS at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church. He remained a God fearing Christian servant with strong faith for the duration of his life.
On October 20, 1990, Stephen was united in marriage with the love of his life and eternal best friend, Sherre Shannon Foell. Together Stephen and Sherre shared nearly thirty-three years of laughter and memories.
Stephen was a hard worker and took great pride in providing for his family. Most recently he was employed with Caravan Trailer as a fork lift operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and tending to the needs of the farm. He was a devoted family man and put the needs of his family first. He was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. According to his family, he was the best advice giver and always knew what to say to calm there fears and warm their hearts. He was truly their hero.
Stephen is survived by his wife Sherre Shannon Piercy; children, Gavin Ray Piercy and Ashtan Shannon Piercy, all of Lebanon, MO; his parents, Billy and Della Fay Piercy of Lebanon, MO; one sister, Melissa Smith and her husband Matt of Lebanon, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donavon Foell and his wife Margaret, Rocky Foell and his wife Carol and Yancy Foell and his wife Tammy, all of Lebanon, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Those preceding Stephen in death include an infant son, Cheston Dean Piercy; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Lenora Piercy; and maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Sylvia Reid.
Stephen loved the Lord and his family. He led by example and made others feel important. He will be forever missed.
