Michael Piercy, age 76, of Andrews, North Carolina passed away on February 22, 2026 in Asheville, North Carolina. Mr. Piercy was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Clara Crawford Piercy; brother, Danny Clyde Piercy and grandson, Maurice Piercy.
He is survived by two sons, Danny Piercy and Scott Piercy; sisters, Laura Hogsed, Debbie Piercy, and Martha Pullium; grandchildren, Carly Piercy and Tesa Anderson. Many other extended family members also survive.
Michael served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He found great pleasure in riding his dirt bike in the mountains. He worked as a heavy machine operator in which he found pride in a job well done. Michael could often be found relaxing in front of the television set enjoying a good NASCAR race or learning something new from an educational program.
