He worked as an Inspector for the USDA for 35 years before retiring. Stephen enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Michelle wife of Ed Miller of East Penn Township, and Suzanne wife of Alan Schlenker of East Penn Township, brother, Charles and wife Annie Poandl of Charleston, SC, sisters, Mary Ann wife of Francis "Butch" Morgan of North Coplay, and Dolores wife of James Varnes of Pottstown, sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Poandl of Bath, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Vincent Poandl, Jr.
Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Miller Funeral Home, Lehighton. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
