Stephen “Jeremy” Poole was born July 7, 1982 and passed June 16, 2025 at the age of 42.
Jeremy was born in Greensboro, NC. He was a kind, smart, handsome, funny and beautiful soul. He was doted on and loved by his family. When he was young, he enjoyed swimming, golf, playing baseball and ice hockey.
He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC in 2000. He then went to Appalachian State University and graduated in 2005. After college, Jeremy worked in the hotel & resort industry then went on to work in company logistics. Jeremy often talked about loving his time in Boone. Even after moving away from Boone, he still enjoyed snowboarding and skiing. He enjoyed going to concerts, listening to an array of musicians and relaxing at the beach. He also loved watching and attending sporting events, especially Appalachian State University football.
After graduating from college, Jeremy moved to Charlotte, NC. Later he moved to Madison, NC and in 2015 he moved to Kernersville, NC.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Love. He is survived by his father, Jerry Poole, and stepmother, Arlene, of Siler City, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Misha Foust (Michael) of Siler City, NC; brother Jason Poole of Greensboro, NC; sister Chellye Hudson (Brent) of Charlotte, NC; and nephews Kayden Poole (Mik), Brooks Hudson, Hunter Sandlin, Gavin Hudson, Will Poole, Jack Hudson and Tyler Poole.
Jeremy will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2pm at CrossPoint Church, 500 W Fifth Ave, Siler City, NC.
