Stephen Garfield Price

Stephen was born on July 6, 1946, in Windsor, Ontario to parents Eric and Margaret (Pat) Price, died on December 31, 2025, in Lansing.
He became a naturalized U.S. citizen on July 6, 1976. Stephen retired from the U.S. Postal Service for East Lansing Branch 2555 with thirty years of service. He was very active in the union in several areas for many years. Stephen served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge.
Stephen's many hobbies included league bowling for many years where he met his wife in 1995, along with playing fantasy football, and watching sports.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Linda VanHorn-Price, daughter Shannon (Tommy), son Grant (Amy) Price, four loving grandchildren, Travis and Cameron Swope, Annabelle and Caleb Price, and stepson Craig Saul, who was like a second son to him, sister Crista (Tom) and brother Curtis (Liz) Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Laurine and brother Robin. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday January 17, 2026 at One North Kitchen and Bar East Lansing, 1310 Abbot Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823 from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
