Stephen Charles Rauschhuber of Atascosa, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born August 3, 1955 in Cleburne, Texas to the Louise Banner Houston Rauschhuber and the late Emory Carl Rauschhuber.
Stephen was a 1973 graduate of Southwest High School and attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco. He worked twenty-five years at Santa Rosa as a Biomedical Technician and another twenty years in his own business as an independent Medical Equipment Repair Company.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Loftus Rauschhuber; sons, Michael Rauschhuber of Houston and Scott (Jovelle) Rauschhuber of San Antonio; mother, Louise Banner Houston Rauschhuber of Atascosa; brothers and sisters, Martin Rauschhuber of Atascosa, Mary (Robert) Gorzell of Stockdale, David Rauschhuber of Atascosa, Rosanne Rauschhuber of Houston, and Paul Rauschhuber of Atascosa.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Emory Carl Rauschhuber.
Visitation will be Monday, March 13, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78218.
Memorials may be made in Stephen's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Association (www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate) or the charity of your choice.
