With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Issac Rayburn, 50, of Patriot, Ohio, on July 5, 2025. A father, a grandfather, a son, a brother—Stephen was so much to so many. His love was quiet but unwavering, and his presence felt like home.
He leaves behind his long-time partner, Cassandra Miller, who stood beside him through life’s many chapters.
He also leaves behind his children: Natassia Coe, Stephenee Burchett, Mary Rayburn, and Stephen Rayburn Jr.; his stepchildren, whom he loved as his own: Bryanna Miller, Madison Miller, and Haylee Miller; and his precious grandchildren: Aria Coe and Liam Coe, who brought light to his life.
Stephen is also survived by his mother, Barbara Rayburn, and his sisters, Kelly Rayburn and Cristie Plott.
Stephen loved without limits. He showed up—for his family, his friends, and even for those who just needed a hand or a kind word. His laughter filled every room, and his silence held just as much meaning. He wasn’t loud about his love, but he made sure you never questioned it.
Now, the love he gave so freely lives on in those he leaves behind. It leaks through our cracks, spills onto strangers, overflows onto friends, and fills the world in quiet, beautiful ways. That’s the kind of man he was. That’s the kind of love he left.
