Steve (Bunga since Mrs. Nash's 4th grade class) was a great guy and will be missed. Glad I got to see him @ the reunion. Condolences and prayers to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Steve & his family were my next door neighbors as we grew up.

Sorry to hear this. Another of the great old time names from Ashland Ave. in St. Paul. The Scherman's. Went to St. Mark's w/Steve. Back then he was known as "Bunga" Then rode to Cretin w/him and Mike Flynn in Frank's blue 62 Pontiac Tempest. Terrible heater! Paid Frank $1 a week. Also worked at Grandview theater w/Steve. Those were the days. RIP!

RIP my dear friend! My mind reels back to when we first met in 1984 and all the memories; at work, the many chats / laughs and the fun we had cheering on the Twins at the ticker tape parade.
I'm so glad you spotted me at the State Fair two summers ago... as I heard your voice call out my name I immediately knew it was you and mouthed "Scherm" before I even turned around... I basically jumped into your arms :). That moment and many others I will never forget! Love you dearly my friend!!
