The Carson's were blessed to have the Sherrill family as neighbors and friends for over 30 years. Our fathers even worked at Duke Power together
Steve was always like family, Often willing and able to repair anything that was broken. He was a treasured lifelong friend for 75 years who will be greatly missed. RIP ole buddy !!

I met Steve years ago playing basketball on weeknights in a local Presbyterian church gym. He was a real competitor who understood we were all there to play a game, get a lot of exercise, and have fun. I valued his friendship and will miss him.
