Stephen R. Sincyr II passed away on May 17, 2024.
He was born on January 9, 1974 in Portland, Maine to Donna Huntley Sincyr and Stephen R. Sincyr (deceased).
Steve grew up in Saco, Maine and graduated from Thornton Academy. He joined the Army after high school. After the army he became a truck driver and later went into the heating industry.
Steve had a passion for music, especially disco, and played in many bands over the years. He spent much of his time going on road trips to concerts with family and friends. He was always the biggest and loudest person in the room but everyone always felt safe when he was around. He loved playing chess and very few could beat him. He was a dog lover and never met a dog he didn't like and they all loved him.
By trade, Steve was a talented and hard-working master gas technician. There was never a problem he couldn't figure out. When someone didn't have heat in the middle of the night he was the guy that showed up.
Steve will be remembered as a kind hearted person who would help anyone who needed it. He was a caring and attentive son to his mother. A loving father, a good and kind big brother to his sister, and a great friend to many.
He is survived by his Mother, Donna Huntley Sincyr, his sister Robyn Sincyr and her spouse, Katherine Marshall, his brothers Justin and Ian Sincyr, his beloved son, Broderick Sincyr and the daughter of his heart Harmony Therrien. His aunt and uncle, Beth and Ken Lovejoy and his uncle Bob Ladd and several cousins. He was predeceased by his Aunt Cindy (Huntley) Ladd, his cousin Roberta (Bobbie) Ladd, his maternal grandmother Virginia Harmon Hamilton, and his maternal grandfather Harold Huntley.
A time of visiting will be Thursday May 23, 2024 beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Dolby, Blais and Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 03062.
