LIMA -- Stephen Shawn Snyder 45 passed away August 30, 2025. Shawn was born March 14 1980 to Stephen Snyder and Karen Zeigler who survive in Lima, Ohio.
Shawn was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He had a big heart that made sure everyone around him felt comfortable and cared for. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, friends, and his two dogs, Dexter and Hank. Riding his Harley Davidson was one of his greatest joys, and it reflected the freedom and spirit he carried with him day by day.
He is survived by his children: Shawn (Viktorea) Snyder, Blake Snyder (Brooklyn Hurst), and Brooke Snyder (Jake Frisch); stepmother Brenda Snyder; his siblings, Donovan and Trish Snyder; Special Uncle Tom Zeigler, and MANY friends and extended family who will carry his memory forward.
Shawn's life was full of love, laughter, and loyalty. He often reminded those around him to Live life day by day, and those words will remain a guiding light for everyone who loved him.
A Celebration of Life for friends will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Sun Valley Family Campground, 9779 Faulkner Road Harrod, OH 45850. (More details to come).
