Stephen Lamar Stallings

Stephen Lamar Stallings age 78 of Trenton, GA died Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services are Sunday March 1, 2026 at 3 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donavan Whited officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM CT on Saturday and 1 PM until service time on Sunday.

Stephen was born in Ider, AL to parents, Sam and Imonell Rogers Stallings. He was a 1966 graduate of Davis High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army where he made the rank of Sargent. After his time in service he attend Northeast College and Snead State where he sang in the choir. He worked as a Foundry Superintendent at many different locations including, Chattanooga, Albertville, Illinois, and Nebraska. After leaving the foundry work he began driving an 18 wheeler over the road. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Polly Ann Davis Stallings, son, Bill Stallings(Aneesa), grandson, Oliver Stallings, brother, Ronald G. Stallings(Paula), brother-in-law, Bruce Young, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dana Kay Stallings Young.
