I met Steve in the fifth grade when we had to stay after school for detention. We became great friends. He only lived a block away from me and so we often walked to school together. We played a lot of baseball together and I knew his family well. His brother Jeff is a good friend who I talk to often. I loved Steve´s energy and whimsical smile. He will be missed.
