Stephen Ray Tamez, age 37, passed on April 1st, 2023, in Farmers Branch, TX. Stephen was born to parents James Kryfko and Shelley Rogers on December 30, 1985, in Troy, North Carolina.
Stephen and his family later moved to Mesquite, TX, aka. “The Nest: Where the Hawk Lies”. Stephen or better known as “SugarBear” was an avid fisherman and loved to be around and in the water every chance he would get. He also loved playing golf and pool. But hunting and sharing his hobbies with his son, Skylar was where he was most happy. Sugarbear was also a very talented businessman and salesman which he used in career as a Solar panel salesman.
Stephen is survived by his son Skylar Tamez of McKinney, TX. His parents James Kryfko of Fairfield, TX and his mother Shelley Rogers of Stony Point, NC. Maternal grandparents Jerry and Fredda Rogers of Statesville, NC; Paternal grandmother Lynda Tamez of RedOak, TX. His sister Sarah Kryfko of Kemp, TX, along with numerous other aunts, nieces, nephew, and cousins.
