I was just at high school when Steve built the store here. My mom went to work for him and he treated her so good. Steve was that way with everybody he treated everybody good. I remember the times I would go in every morning to get my lunch and breakfast before I went to work. I know at least once a week Steve or Peanie would tell me how much they appreciated my business. The morning coffee club met every morning at Steve´s. He had so many friends that came. Steve, and his wife are some of the hardest, working people I´ve ever known. I considered Steve and Peanie To be my friends. Steve will greatly be missed, he was the best husband, daddy, granddaddy, and great granddaddy than you could ever imagine. I really miss Steve the last few years, it was always good to see him in the store. I pray that God undergirds All of his family, and friends at this time of grief.
