James Rogers Corley(1943-2026)
James Rogers Corley, born February 28th, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia, age 82, Hueytown, AL, passed away at Baptist Princeton Hospital on February 4, 2026; due to complications of COPD.
James was a hardworking individual that loved to make people laugh and definitely loved to get a reaction. His favorite past times, Alabama football, NASCAR, fishing and casinos. He retired from Fravert Services.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hoyt Corley and Ruby Hoke Corley; his wife, Dale Rogers Corley; sisters, Linda Staggs and Laura McCloud, and brother, Ronald Corley.Survived by his brother, William Jackson Corley(Mary); sons, James Glenn Corley (Julie) and Bobby Rogers Corley (Amanda); daughters, Tonya Putman (Damon) and Lisa Corley; 10 grandchildren, Alex, Jordan, Ali, Ashley, Wesley, Chace, Caleb, Ty Tucker and Tate; 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:45 PM with the burial at Patterson-Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.

He loved each of you so much and was thankful how you took care of him. In a time that was overwhelming for our family, your kindness made all the difference. Every nurse, doctor, tech, and staff member treated him with dignity and treated us with understanding. Thank you to all our family and friends who have called, texted, sent flowers, provided food and your prayers. It will forever mean the world to us and we love you all.
