Mindy Ann McCarty

Mindy Ann McCarty, age 46, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, passed away on February 9, 2026. She was a bright light in the lives of everyone she met, remembered for her warmth and kindness. Mindy attended Midfield High School and graduated from Hueytown High School in 1997. Mindy was a devoted mother to her son, Landon. She was cherished as a loving wife, daughter, mother, and sister, and her compassion and love will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Mindy is preceded in death by her father, Richard McCarty. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 16 years, Eric McDonald; son, Landon McDonald; mother, JoAnn Spradlin (Randy Antinoro); brother, Richard "Boogie" McCarty; furry friends, Finn and Bear; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home from 11:30 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow service in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
