He was born February 11, 1945 in Vandalia, IL the son of Wallace Clarence and Audrey (Denning) Torbeck. Steve worked in construction and he loved doing anything outdoors; including, fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, camping, and playing music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his Significant Other - Patty Vonburg of Shobonier, IL; Children - Christine, Ricky Dale, Stephanie, Steven "Tracey", and Stacey; Several Grandchildren; and Sister - Fran Cole & Keith of Vandalia, IL.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother - Marion Torbeck; and Sister - Patricia Casey.
