Stephen Vallee Obituary
Stephen B. Vallee, 55, of Greenfield Road in Peterborough died Thursday October 21, 2004 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Vallee was born on January 25, 1949 in Center Harbor, NH, son of Jane P. Vallee and step-son of Guy Corcoran. He was a 1970 graduate of Interlakes High School in Meredith.
He was a Corporal with the United States Marine Corps and had served from 1972 to 1976.
He had worked with many community services in the Lakes Region and for the past 13 years at Peterborough Basket Company in Peterborough where he was a supervisor.
Mr. Vallee is survived by his daughter Sheri Walch of Littleton, NH; his son Steve Vallee and his Granddaughter Alyssa Marie Vallee of Meredith, NH. He is also survived by 4 sisters, Brenda Graham of North Woodstock, NH, Diane Hurd of Long Beach, CA, Jane Corcoran of Huntington, CA and Kathy Somma of Alexandria, NH; 4 brothers Paul, Matt and Guy Corcoran, all of Center Harbor, NH and Gilbert Corcoran of Belmont, NH and several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Close Friends.
There will be no calling hours.
Friends and Family are warmly invited to a celebration of Mr. Vallee’s life which will be held on Sunday November 7, 2004 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at his home at 762 Greenfield Road, (Route 136) in Peterborough.
The Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Jaffrey is assisting with arrangements.

Brother, you were once as I and as you, I shall one day be. It will be that day, my brother, our eyes will again meet. Until that day fate grabs a hold of me, it's in my heart, brother, that you'll always be. Ode to you, a man of dignity. Ode to you, father, son, brother, and friend. Well Stefi, as you go FORWARD into the other life, I wish you peace and good cheer. You are a wonderful spirit and I will always cherish our earth walk together. I will always selfishly wish I had more time with you, but, unfortunately, TIME SAID "NO." Therefore, I will hold your smile and laughter and unique way of being close to my heart--until we meet again--as we surely will! Remember to say "Hi" to Mum for me!

Brenda,
I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of your brother, Stephen. He fought a very hard battle, but now is resting with Our Father and is no longer in pain. I am here, Brenda if you need me.
