Steve Aguilar, 66, of Rockdale, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Temple Texas. A viewing will be held Saturday, November 22 from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at Phillips and Luckey funeral Home in Rockdale followed by a graveside service at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Rockdale.

Steve Aguilar was born on July 26, 1959, in Abernathy, Texas, to Domingo and Rachel Aguilar. He graduated from Rockdale High School in 1979. Shortly after, Steve married Kelley Grant, and together they were blessed with two children, Natasha and Steven Aguilar.

In 1992, Steve began his career with Walmart as part of the overnight maintenance crew. Through hard work and dedication, he rose to become Team Lead of the maintenance department at the Rockdale Walmart-a role he held with pride.

His smile was a constant presence, especially when surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known for his kindness, Steve never hesitated to help anyone in need.

Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, Steve remained strong, and his faith never wavered. His legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew him.

Steve is proceeded in death by his parents Domingo and Rachel Aguilar and his brothers, Domingo Jr., Danny, Andrew, and friend Kelly Hernandez. He is survived by his siblings Louis Aguilar and wife Ann, MaryJo Gonzalez, Lisa Johnston and husband Rhett, and Cyndia Ingram and Husband Tracy.

Steve will be greatly missed by his Daughter Natasha Aguilar, Son Steven Aguilar and Wife Stacie; 8 grandchildren Hayden Aguilar and fiancé Natty, Kaleigh, Addison, and Sophia Aguilar, Madelynn and Colt Matthews, and Jace Aguilar; 2 great grandchildren Nadia and Sienna Aguilar as well as many nieces and nephews.
