Steven L. Bierle, 71, of Vermillion, SD passed away of natural causes peacefully Monday, August 12 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
Steve was born November 2, 1952, in Yankton, SD to LeRoy and Margaret (Tacke) Bierle. He graduated from Vermillion High School in 1971 and from Springfield College with a degree in Diesel Mechanics.
Steve was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Jim & Greg, and brother-in-law Dave Bensen.
He is survived by siblings: Jean, Jack (Lavonne), Larry (Tricia), Chuck (Nicole) all of Boise, ID, Anne Bensen of Sioux Falls, Dick Bierle of Yankton, Bob (Cristy) Bierle of Vermillion, Kay (Jeff) Hansen of Centerville, SD, Melinda (Bruce) Boyum of Spooner, WI, sister-in-law Rosie Bierle of Sioux Falls, aunts Leona Kryger of Vermillion, Eileen Riordan of Forest Grove, OR, and Karen Bierle of Fort Worth, TX as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Steve would prefer you make donations to Catholic Near East Welfare Association or Catholic Relief Services.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Saturday, August 17 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Vermillion. A rosary prior to the funeral will begin at 9:00 am with visitation to follow, all at the church. A private family burial will be held.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
