Steve Robert Cannata passed away on July 06, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born August 02, 1987, to Steven M Cannata (1955 - 2014) and Robin J Cannata (1955 - 2006).
Steve is survived by his two sisters and their husbands; Jamie Neely and husband Matt Neely, Laura Guy and husband Josh Guy. His two nephews, Owen Neely and Levi Neely. He leaves behind his significant other, Stacey Hansen.
As a young boy, his "Pops" taught him how to hunt, fish, and survive in the wilderness. He quickly mastered these life skills, and they turned into his passion as he became an adult man. Steve enjoyed annual hunting trips to X-12 in the Sierra Nevada, loved the anticipation of a bite on the other end of the fishing pole, and found peace within the waters of lakes and streams. Steve's biggest dream in life was to explore the vast wilderness of Alaska, but that dream died with him.
Steve was known for his kind giving spirit, a special gift that was passed down to him from his mom. He had sincere compassion for people in need and could never walk by someone who was hungry without purchasing them a meal. A non-judgmental soul who believed in the value of human dignity.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a project that Steve supported and was close to his heart.
