Steve J. Cyr, 56, resident of Lyndeborough, NH died at his home on March 29, 2024.
He was born on March 11, 1968, in Fort Kent, ME, a son of the late Joel Cyr and Lola Bard.
Steve was raised in Grand Isle, ME and graduated from Van Buren High School class of 1986. He moved to the Nashua area for work and met and married Andrea (Roy) in 1991. They made their home in Lyndeborough since 1999.
He worked for many years as a machinist, first for NIMCO, then NuWeld, Hollis Line Machine, and most recently for Janos Technologies of Keene, NH.
Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his family. His garden was a great source of pride and joy. He will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his son, Timothy Cyr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Andrea Cyr of Lyndeborough, NH, daughter and son-in-law, Lauren Cyr–Healy and her husband, Denis Healy of Leominster, MA, his siblings, Debbie Whitson, Cindy Cyr, Sylvie Desjardins, Sandra Desjardins, Jesse Cyr, his niece and nephews and his beloved dog, Denny.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Congregational Church of Amherst, 11 Church Street, Amherst, NH. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Animal Rescue League of NH, or to one's favorite charity. Burial will be private at a later date.
