Steve Lott

Mr. Steven Powell Lott, 73, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born August 2, 1952 in Grenada to Powell B. Lott and Hildred Corder Lott. Steve was a retired Supervisor at Binswanger in Grenada where he devoted many years of his working life. He was a man that enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands. Steve was very skilled in woodworking & carpentry. He also enjoyed working in the yard and growing a vegetable garden each summer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Gatlin Lott; son, Ronnie Livingston(Beverly) of Cleveland; sister, Irene Floyd(Randy) of Gore Springs; four grandchildren, Jason Hodges, Rob Livingston, Garrett Turner and Cole Turner; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Donna Livingston Smith.

Jason Hodges, Jayden Hodges, Cole Turner, Garrett Turner and Skyler Turner will honor Steve by serving as pallbearers.
