Steve Luverne Kormann

Steve Kormann 8/31/1956 - 6/12/2024 Steven Luverne Kormann, age 67, of Exeland, WI passed away June 12, 2024. He was born on August 31, 1956 to Luverne and Betty (Foels) Kormann in Waseca, MN. He graduated from New Richland High School in 1974. Steve married Ann Zesiger in 1985. He and Ann served as missionaries in Zaire for 2 years. After living back at his home place for several years working construction, he moved his family to Wisconsin in 1993 and pursued his passion of dairy farming, which he continued for the rest of his life. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, music, playing games and woodworking. His favorite place to be was home. Steve was committed to his God, his family, and his community and served in countless ways. His humility, patience, and quiet strength impacted those around him. He is enjoying eternal life with his Savior in whom he placed his trust. He is survived by his wife, Ann, his 6 kids, Nathaniel, Emily, Grace, Laura, Matthew, and Silas, his siblings Laurie (Bruce) Peterson, JoAnn (Loren) Johnson, Shirley (Bruce) Lester, Mark (Deb) Kormann, Gail (Jon) Haferman, and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents Luverne and Betty Kormann. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Red Shed on the Kormann Farm at 1950N County Rd C, Exeland, WI 54835. Lunch and fellowship to follow. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is serving and assisting the family with the arrangements.
