Steve DeWayne McClellan, 72, passed away on Friday, March 27th, 2026. He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, to Dewitt (Buck) and Doris McClellan.
Steve is survived by his daughter Aimee (Michael) McClellan-Morris of Port St. Lucie, FL, and two grandsons, Jacob (Skylar) McClellan of Fort Pierce and Jeremy Morris of Port St. Lucie. Five brothers and sisters: Diana Skelton of Deltona, Debbie Cowsert of Port St. Lucie, Darrell (Sheryl) McClellan of Port St. Lucie, Sharon (Mike) Mitchell of Vero Beach, and Eddie (Jennifer) McClellan of Port St. Lucie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 29 years, Barbara Ann McClellan, and brother Danny McClellan.
Steve retired from his lifelong craft of carpentry in 2023 to spend his days in Crestview, FL, with his four-legged companion Bozzly. He dedicated his life to his family and his faith in Jesus Christ. Steve was a selfless and loving man who had an incredible talent for woodworking.
Private services will be arranged at a later date.
To honor Steve, the family asks that you make a charitable donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
