Mr. Steve Nicholson, 73, of Richton, MS passed from this life Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, March 7, 1949 to Willie Earl Nicholson and Chalmus Nicholson. He was a member of Richton First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Steve served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He had worked as an Electrician at Hood Industries. Mr. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Willie Earl Nicholson; mother, Chalmus Nicholson; two sons, Steven Paul Nicholson, Richie Nicholson; three grandchildren, Kailynn Nicholson, Braden Nicholson, Bret Nicholson. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Nicholson, Richton, MS; son, Brad Nicholson (Sonya), Richton, MS; daughter, Kathy Tucker (Delane), Richton, MS; brother, Gary Nicholson (Susan), Clarke County, MS; three sisters, Hilda Brewer (Billy), Patricia Landrum (Ronnie), Charlotte Byrd (Jimmie), all of Richton, MS; 14 grandchildren, Joshua Nicholson, Dedra Nicholson, Kaleb Nicholson, Kaitlyn Nicholson, Eli Smith, Kari Tucker, Kameron Mills, Corey Tucker, Bridget Tucker, Kristen Parker, Mallory Nicholson, Makenzie Nicholson, Dustin Nicholson, Brooklyn Perry; 13 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Steve will begin at 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Richton First Assembly of God Church, 91514 MS-42, Richton, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2023 with a Lie-In-State from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Richton First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Scott Morris, Rev. Steven Ray Perry, and Rev. Tim Cauley officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Pallbearers are Kameron Mills, Dustin Nicholson, Kaleb Nicholson, Kaden Perry, Joshua Nicholson, Justin Parker, Jeffery Brewer, Rodney Landrum.
