Some of the places he worked included Peach Bottom, Three Mile Island and as a consultant at Shawville Power Plant. He was also a self-employed businessman, he had several business's he started, including Lifetime Beam, Lifetime Products, Stone Road Outboard and Stone Road Fiberglass.

He enjoyed hunting, trapping and particularly fishing. He was proud and very supportive of his kids playing sports and enjoyed watching them in wrestling and football.

In addition to his wife Lucille, he is survived by five children, Steve (Bonnie) Null, Jr. of Reynoldsville, Clifford "Kip" (Pam) Null of Reynoldsville, Clayton (Marilyn) Null of Porter; Cindy (Ivan) Shankle of Punxsutawney and Beth (Shane) Sutherland of Altoona; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
